A Day at Sundara + a Big Giveaway!
You know I love a great hotel and good skincare, so it was a total no-brainer for me to say yes when one of the top destination spas in the world, Sundara Inn & Spa, and skincare line HydroPeptide asked me to pay them a visit. Not only that, but they asked me to help them give away a spa getaway to one of my readers! Are you dying? More on that in a minute, but first, a little bit about my day at Sundara.
Sundara, which is Sanskrit for beautiful, describes the resort perfectly–hidden away among pine trees about an hour north of Madison, Wisconsin, it is truly a luxurious escape from it all. The resort has just 26 rooms, which are large yet cozy, with features like fireplaces, spa bathrooms, and woodland views. Downstairs the spa and pool area provide a peaceful sanctuary where cell phones are off limits and relaxing is mandatory. On my visit, I was treated to an Advanced Resurfacing treatment and then spent the afternoon enjoying the Purifying Bath Ritual, lounging in the Tranquility Garden, and sipping smoothies by the infinity pool. TOTAL BLISS. It was perfect to experience solo, but would be even better for two–couples, girlfriends, even a babymoon. And it’s so accessible from Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago and other parts of the Midwest. Apparently people travel here from all over the country, and I can see why.
