The Perfect D’Orsay Flat
I can hardly believe that it’s been a year since I shared my last “essential” piece with you, those go-to wardrobe staples I deem perfection and wear nonstop. As I approached the end of my pregnancy this time last year, I had stopped shopping and didn’t give much thought to fashion for a while, so I guess that’s why! But it’s almost criminal that I’ve kept these Vince D’Orsay flats from you, save for an Instagram a while back, because I’ve been wearing them constantly for the past year. They are so comfortable and go great with everything–dress them up for business casual, dress them down for weekend casual. Slip them on as you walk out the door, and they give that effortless polish to any outfit. I get compliments on them all the time. I found these shoes true to size and the quality high. I’ve worn them into the ground, so the soles and toes are starting to show some wear, but they are really less beat-up looking than I’d assumed they’d be by now. There are a lot of D’Orsay style flats out there, from budget buys to high end, but I found these to be a great middle ground and worth every penny. Vince has long been one of my go-to brands, and it’s highly likely I’ll be getting another pair of these, I love them that much. You can’t go wrong with the nude or black, and I’m really digging the snakeskin version!
